Nicholas Evans is a Principal UX Designer and experience strategist with over 30 years’ experience designing, shaping and delivering digital products and services across various sectors.
He brings a rare combination of deep UX craft, strategic thinking and executive-level facilitation, enabling organisations to navigate complexity and deliver meaningful, user-centred outcomes.
Nicholas is known for designing with people rather than for them. As a trusted consultant, he builds strong relationships quickly and works comfortably across all levels of an organisation — from executive stakeholders to multidisciplinary delivery teams.
His approach is grounded in Human-Centred Design, Design Thinking and Lean UX, with a strong emphasis on early and continuous customer research to ensure teams are solving the right problems and delivering real value.
Throughout his career, Nicholas has led UX engagements end-to-end, from early discovery and visioning through to delivery and optimisation.
He is equally comfortable operating at a strategic level or rolling up his sleeves to deliver hands-on design work across all levels.
Nicholas has held senior roles within large, complex organisations, including Amazon Web Services and Old Mutual, where he contributed to the design and delivery of high-impact digital initiatives at scale.
In addition to his consulting and design work, Nicholas is an experienced trainer and facilitator, accredited to deliver internationally recognised certifications including Product Ownership, Product Management and Agile Product Design.
